Meet Kwini Reed

NAWBO-OC is proud to announce that Kwini Reed will serve as the Emcee for the 2025 Remarkable Women Awards: Rise, Resilience, Remarkable on Friday, October 3rd. A Southern California native, Kwini Reed is at the forefront of New American cuisine with her husband and business partner, Chef Michael Reed. Together, they lead A Table for Two Hospitality, which includes the beloved Poppy + Rose, Poppy & Seed, and Root of All Food Catering. Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Kwini is a James Beard Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Fellow, a board member for the California Restaurant Association’s LA Chapter, and a dedicated member of Regarding Her, a national nonprofit advancing women in the food and beverage industry. Her commitment to community impact is equally remarkable. Through initiatives like the Coalition for College and the UNI Coalition: We’re in This Together, Kwini and her husband empower underserved communities and support causes ranging from youth development to social justice. When not leading her hospitality group, Kwini inspires others across the country through her speaking engagements, sharing her journey of resilience, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
